🏀 NBA PRESEASON POST-GAME: SE360 FINISHES 3–1 ATS
It was a productive night for the SportsEdge360 preseason board.
Four games. Four pre-game selections.
Three covers. One loss.
SE360's reads on Brooklyn, New Orleans and Denver all delivered, while Golden State's dominant performance against Los Angeles prevented a clean sweep.
🔥 SE360 POST-GAME SCOREBOARD
✅ Brooklyn Nets +4.5 — WIN
Final: Nets 124, Hornets 90
Brooklyn didn't merely cover the +4.5 — the Nets won outright by 34 points.
This was the biggest margin of the four games and turned what had been one of our lower-graded selections into an extremely comfortable result. NBA.com
SE360 verdict: Excellent read.
✅ New Orleans Pelicans +1.5 — WIN
Final: Pelicans 116, Thunder 110
Another underdog that didn't need the points.
New Orleans came away with a six-point outright victory after rallying in the second half. Our +1.5 position therefore cleared comfortably. NBA.com
SE360 verdict: Underdog value delivered.
🔥 Denver Nuggets -1.5 — WIN
Final: Nuggets 117, Jazz 106
This one is particularly satisfying because Denver was our highest-ranked early lean on the board.
Denver needed to win by two.
They won by 11.
The -1.5 never became an issue once Denver established control, giving SE360 another comfortable cover. NBA.com
SE360 verdict: Best early lean delivers.
❌ Los Angeles Lakers +4.5 — LOSS
Final: Warriors 124, Lakers 98
This was the miss.
Golden State completely overwhelmed Los Angeles and won by 26 points, leaving the Lakers well outside our +4.5 cushion. Golden State's Yaxel Lendeborg contributed 17 points and nine rebounds in the victory. Sportsnet.ca
There is no need to dress this one up — Golden State was simply far better on the night.
SE360 verdict: Clear miss. Warriors dominated.
📊 SE360 FINAL BOARD
Nuggets -1.5 — ✅ WIN
Lakers +4.5 — ❌ LOSS
Nets +4.5 — ✅ WIN
Pelicans +1.5 — ✅ WIN
🔥 FINAL RECORD: 3–1 ATS
That is a 75% hit rate across the four selections.
🔍 WHAT WE LEARNED
Preseason basketball remains unpredictable because rotations, minutes and experimentation can change dramatically from one game to another.
Tonight illustrates both sides of that equation.
Brooklyn and New Orleans showed why preseason underdogs can offer value when the market may underestimate roster depth and motivation. Denver justified its position as our strongest early lean.
The Lakers-Warriors result was also an important reminder: even a modest spread provides little protection when a preseason matchup turns into a blowout.
That is why SportsEdge360 will continue treating preseason selections differently from regular-season games — focusing on value while keeping confidence grades disciplined.
🏁 SE360 FINAL TAKE
Three winners from four selections is a strong night.
More importantly, all three winning selections covered comfortably rather than scraping through at the number.
Brooklyn +4.5 ✅
New Orleans +1.5 ✅
Denver -1.5 ✅
Golden State stopped the sweep, but 3–1 ATS is a board we'll happily take.
SportsEdge360 moves on to the next slate.
